Highlights:
- VPP President and CEO Carol Thompson Cole's column on advice for board members of nonprofits looking to scale. This might seem like a column directed at a very niche market, but I think since scale can be defined so broadly, it has applications to boards at most nonprofits. If you are thinking about growing an organization in any way, this will be helpful for you.
- An interview with Gene Steuerle, a tax economist at the Urban Institute. The most interesting part, for me, is his discussion on the impact of the economic recession on nonprofit budgets.
- Michelle Obama visits VPP investment partner, CentroNía. The pictures are super cute.
